it has been too long since i’ve posted.  this summer was filled with trips to the river, PBR and whiskys, happiness and death.  the last six months has probably been the hardest and most stressful time i have endured.  dealing with the guilt and sorrow of my dad’s battle with his cancer 2000 miles away and unable to really leave and be there for him or my mom.  although, i was able to see him several times before his passing, it never seemed like enough time.  he fought to the end, surpassing every prognosis the doctors gave him, laughing and joking all the way down.
